Is it too late for me to go to powerlifting? Empty Is it too late for me to go to powerlifting?

I always wanted to become an amateur bodybuilder and i train for size not for strength.

Is it too late to train for strength.I am almost 20 by the way.

And can someone tell me the basics of powerlifting how do these people get this strong to bench 1000+.
