Leadership Positions APF/WPC
It was about this time two years ago that new Presidents (and VP) was voted in for the WPC and APF, all voted in for two year terms. Seeing as it is now almost two year later, just curious if all of the parties in question are planning on running again? And if anyone else is running against them? I know the procedure will be for the WPC President to be voted on at the 2009 AGM at the WPC Worlds, but not as sure what it will be for the APF Pres/VP.
Thanks for any information.

re:leadership positions in the APF
I was asked last time if it was OK to submit my name for consideration. I thought about it for a week or so and said yes. All things considered it's been a positive experience. The thing is though that no one ever sees themself the way they're viewed by others. I can think of some positives I've brought from being in the role but there's just as likely someone else may see my involvement as being associated with negatives, or may have someone in mind that could or would do better in the role. Assuming there's some sort of vote or election, unless asked by Garry, Kieren, or Amy to not put my name in the hat I guess I'd say consider me a candidate and we'll see how the vote goes. I'd not given this any thought at all. I appreciate you bringing it up. If I don't wind up in any sort of "official role", no problem. I've always helped any way I could and will continue to do the same as allowed.
Best to all,

Re: Leadership Positions APF/WPC
These two guys have been the ultimate in leadership since the election. They both get my vote in advance. Great job guys. Nothing but positives in my opinion! Let's keep them and keep moving forward!

Buddy I fully agree with you both Garry and Mike have been outstanding in their role. If there are no new nominations then their term will renew October 16th.

I know I'd love to see both Mike and Garry continue. Both are great people--always helpful, very motivational, and do their best to do right by the APF and its lifters. Great job to both of you!!
