There is talk of another push/pull in Montgomery in the summer-time through Jakked, and we will also likely have the Rise of the DL again in October.

Today is the postmark date to make the deadline for the IL State Meet. Deadline is Saturday.

Roster has been updated! We are now at 108 lifters! This is going to be one of the largest IL State Meets in recent history.

Due to the high number of lifters this year, I have decided to give out 6 APF/AAPF National Meet Entries to the Best Lifters of the meet (last year we gave out 4). They will be given in the following categories:

Best APF Male Heavyweight Powerlifter
Best AAPF Male Heavyweight Powerlifter
Best APF Male Lightweight Powerlifter
Best AAPF Male Lightweight Powerlifter
Best APF Female Powerlifter
Best AAPF Female Powerlifter

The winners of those Best Lifters awards will recieve FREE entry into a APF or AAPF National meet of their choosing in 2009. If they have already registered for one (like AAPFs), I will pay them back their entry fee.

Eric... I predict this meet to be the biggest APF (non-National/Worlds) meet of the year. The roster is stacked with talent. It's going to be a great show. I'm really looking forward to lifting.
