AAPF Nationals

Any idea if there is to be a raw class. Need to findout soon so I can get a new suit/shirt if not.

I'm not 100% sure, but Mike Sweeney said at the WPC AGM that there was going to be a raw division. Personally I feel for a national meet you should limit the divisions to increase more competition. To have a separate raw nationals is one thing, but to include it in an already established national meet just doubles the number of divisions in the meet. JMO though.

However as a Masters 2 there isnt a treasure trove of competition anyhow. I am only doing th eraw thing do to financial constriants and the fact that I train in my garage by myself so it can prove difficult to gear up. Being that this meet is in Idaho and I live in Montana, I htought that I should support the local guy.

10-4. I hear the Higgins run a very nice meet, I'm going to try to make the trip myself to support the AAPF.

There will be an AAPF Raw division that will be held on Friday - this will be a qualifier for AWPC Raw Worlds in Russia.

I have been looking around online and asking around and I have not been able to find out if there is a qualifying total needed to compete in the open raw division for the AAPF nationals in April. The website tells the requirements for equipped lifters, but there is no mention of qualification for raw lifters. Does anyone know what, if any, qualification is necessary to compete. Thanks
